One of the most important aspects of a videogame is frequently the most neglected- the fun factor. It exists independently of graphics, game mechanics, game play, story, characters and sound, but it intrinsically linked to all three. Often games can rate very high on all of the above, but still just lack that little spark that makes them fun. That something that turns a solid game into a masterpiece.
Ghostbusters didn’t quite have it, but by Miyamoto’s sacred arse it came closer than most.

Evis T reviews Broken Steel
Broken steel is the latest expansion for the critically acclaimed videogame fallout 3. Downloadable content has a chequered past, especially that for fallout 3. Can Broken steel turn this around? Who knows, but one thing's for sure- people will keep buying this junk no matter what I say.

Evis T Reviews Tom Clancy's HAWX for the xbox 360.
Many games try to push the envelope when it comes to development. They push graphics, they push game play, and they experiment with new ideas.
Most of them suck.
However, I am always very grateful to those developers who are not afraid to experiment with new ideas, to explore new shores and bring us to new areas of game play. For every 10 screw ups we get, we get an idea that works. And that my friends, is evolution. Survival of the species most responsive to change (Incidentally, this is why the Point and click adventure went the way of the dodo).
But sometimes I don’t want to be part of a bold new experiment. Sometimes I just want to play something that I know will not surprise me, that I know has been approved by the masses for years. Something I know is not going to enthral me, but certainly won’t disappoint me. Enter the game of the hour, Tom Clancy’s HAWX.

You might be the best at Call of Duty 4, or Halo 3 but realistically what does that do for you on a daily basis? It forces you to sit on your bum, cramp your muscles, eat improperly, skip excercise and ignore regular sleep patterns. All these are all very bad things for you. This is where the Wii steps in!
