It seems that for every step forwards we take, we end up taking at least two back.
The music industry today scored big points in France as a new law was passed which will have a dramatic impact on France’s online population. The new legislation will lead to the formation of a new government body which will operate a three strike rule, allowing the banning of users from the internet for a year if they repeatedly use file sharing services.
Previously, the bill had been voted down by the French government, but with the backing of Sarkozy (a pathetic wretch of a man), France’s president, the bill has now gone through.

Alistair Darling's Budget: Blowing Wind Or A Breath Of Fresh Air?
On the 17th of April, The Chancellor of the exchequer Alistair Darling delivered his budget for the 2009-2010 financial year. It has caused much debate over the past few days, some people are hailing it as the new way forwards, some are condemning it and calling it nothing but fantasy.

I don't want to set the world on fire...
Some personal views here. Basically, I support nuclear weapons. I think they've saved a lot of lives and create a more stable political world. I'm aware that many oppose my view, so for those people I have written out this little article.
